Take a photo of your lawn. Yard Champ sends it to Claude (Anthropic's AI) which scores your turf 1–10 and explains what's going well and what needs attention. Your grass type, climate zone, and recent activity are included so the advice is specific to your yard.
The free tier includes 5 AI analyses total (one-time, per device). Upgrading to Yard Champ Pro ($6.99 one-time) unlocks up to 150 analyses per month. Tap the Upgrade button in Settings or on any AI screen.
Open the app → Settings → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used to purchase. Or open the paywall and tap "Restore previous purchase."
Yard Champ needs location permission (foreground only) to fetch your local forecast from Open-Meteo. Go to iOS Settings → Yard Champ → Location → "While Using the App."
No. Yard Champ stores everything (zones, photos, scores, logs) locally on your device only. There's no account, no cloud, and no sync. You can export your data from Settings to back it up.
Settings → "Clear All Data" wipes everything. Or just uninstall the app.
No. The AI gives general guidance based on photos and the info you provide. For serious pest, disease, or chemical-application decisions, always read product labels, check local regulations, and consult a licensed pro.
